I haven't been able to read my book, yet, but it arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. I can't wait to dig in!

I bought this book because I was curious, it sounded like a fun adventure and to be honest I was hoping to be part of the Beast Games competition for $1 million. Now I feel like I’m kind of out of the running because once my 10-year-old and 11-year-old sons realized that I bought the book they claimed it and are much slower readers. I’ve read half of it so far and it seems really fun and I’m really grateful that this has gotten my kids so excited about reading! Thank you so much, Jimmy and James Patterson. It’s perfect for their level and hopefully I’ll get to finish it soon!

I originally got this book for the challenge, but it turned out to be more to me than a challenge. I lost my mother very tragically and unexpectedly not even a week ago and truthfully this book is such a great mystery it has helped distract me just enough so I don't break. This may be corny but it's my truth.

I’d give it a 3.5/5 ⭐️ because it had some necessary elements: it was interesting, shocking, exciting, and easy to read ( a true page turner!).
However, I felt the dangerous scenes, key characters (especially at the end), and overall plot needed more development and background. As the reader, I wanted all my senses to feel the pressure the characters were going through, but it was mainly the character that went through it on their own. I was also left with a few questions at the end. Perhaps book #2 can help? 📕 😊👏

So far I really like this book. I've never read a James Patterson book before so I was curious as to how I would like it. I mainly bought it to pass time during my surgery recovery and because I love brain teasers and logic puzzles/challenges. The characters are diverse and my favorite (and probably the sad part only because the obvious new relationships may end in tragedy) is where the characters form relationships/friendships with the other characters and protect eachother through the challenges. There's so many emotions going through my head when I read. I've shed a couple of tears when some characters died, my heart races when I'm reading intense parts where the characters find themselves in troubling situations, I've gotten frustrated a couple of times because why would a specific person get offed and because a certain character was so prideful and selfish lol. I love how they included Jimmy in the book as well. I feel sorry for my sponsor who has had to watch me struggle through the challenges lol it's just me and my 1 brain cell against the world sometimes.
But anyways, I am going to look more into James Patterson now because I've enjoyed reading this book. And if any of his other books are similar to this then I think I found my new favorite author. It's a nice change from teen drama books.

It’s been really fun as a teacher to share the book and the games with my students. They think it’s so cool that their teacher is in a Mr. Beast challenge. The challenges are exciting, unique, and so worth my very little extra time (teacher and a mom of 5!). Thank you so much for this experience!

Great plot, realistic relationships, intriguing throughout

The combination of Mr. Beast and James Patterson is a story with characters you embrace or dislike quickly. It is a fast pace read that always has you wanting more at the end of each chapter. I haven't finished yet but it won't be long...

Great book

Excellent book and so easy to read.

From the first chapter, The Most Dangerous Games pulls you into a world where every task could be your last. The stakes are real, the tension never lets up, and I kept telling myself "just one more chapter" until I'd finished the whole thing.

What makes it special is how it balances heart-pounding danger with characters you actually care about. When someone fails a task, you feel it. The pacing is relentless, and every twist raised the stakes without feeling forced.

I liked it so much that I'm now playing the game, and it's just as fantastic. The book gives the game real depth, and the game lets you step into the world you just read about. They complement each other perfectly.

If you love high-stakes survival stories, this is a must-read. Highly recommended. I hope there’s a sequel.

Easy to read but not easy to solve

An absolutely amazing book, I can feel the passion and the creativity that was put into every page and the feeling I got that I was in the book gave me shivers with every twist

I picked up The Most Dangerous Games thinking I was just going to read a book… and somehow ended up with a notebook full of theories, suspicious page numbers, highlighted words, maps, codes, and a slight obsession with finding clues 😂🔎📖

The story itself is fast, fun, and keeps you wanting to turn the page, but knowing there are puzzles and secrets hiding throughout it made the experience SO much better. I’ve gone back through pages more times than I’d like to admit because suddenly every tiny detail feels suspicious. 👀

It’s been such a fun mix of reading, puzzle solving, overthinking, and connecting with other people who are just as determined to figure everything out.

Definitely one of the most unique reading experiences I’ve ever had. At this point I don’t know if I read the book or the book read me. 😂🐼

10/10 would willingly lose sleep over mysterious clues again. 🖤🔐📚
